Mind Heist
King Saul, in his reckless pursuit to hear the voice of Samuel once more, sought out a witch—a dangerous gamble for both his life and his kingdom. Driven by despair, he did everything he could to reconnect with his ex. Not an ex-lover, but his ex-prophet. His guide, now gone. Yet, as 1 Samuel 15 reminds us, that relationship had perished long before Samuel's earthly body did. The bond was broken, and Saul, blind to the truth, reached into the forbidden.
When the enemy of souls orchestrates a mind heist, the aftermath is staggering. The victim’s choices spiral—detached from divine reality, unmoored from righteous truth. Their moral compass spins wildly, pointing anywhere but north. Here’s the sobering truth:
We are all somewhere on that spectrum of sin. All of us, vulnerable to this ancient, deadly virus that has plagued humanity for millennia. For some, it manifests as murder, genocide, or crimes too heinous to name. For others, it's petty theft, a daring ATM heist, or the siphoning of billions from a nation’s coffers. Sin does not discriminate; it stunts the soul and distorts God’s standard of righteousness.
But the question remains: what will you do today to counter its corrosive effects? Do you trust in the transformative power of prayer, the cleansing truth found in His word? Though we were born in sin and shaped by iniquity, freedom is within our reach.
The chains of sin can be broken. Your mind can be liberated from the enemy’s grip. Resist the intrusion. Let no one plant in your soul what might rob you of the priceless gift of salvation. Stand firm. Resist the mind heist.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Rom. 12:2
