There are very few things in this life  that compare to that incredible feeling of falling in love.

The opposite is also true.  There are very few things that feel worse than falling out of love. But do we really “fall out of love”? While falling in love can sometimes happen in a heart beat, falling out of love usually occurs over longer period of time. Here’s where the rubber meets the road though.

No one really falls out of love. We actually fall out of trust, intimacy and respect. When these containers of our affection disappear the fickle fluid of love, no longer restricted, simply flows away into nothingness. This is why God pursues our trust, He desires our intimacy and relishes our respect. The Father is not one for floating on feelings like a magical carpet.

No.

God plays the long game because at any moment, our feelings will allow us to fall out of how we feel. If we commit to listening to Him through: prayer, time in the Word and those...“unexplainable” life occurrences we will surely hear His wonderful words of life wooing us to Him. So do all you can to prevent a fall out. There will never be another like this Man. For there is no other gift more enduring than that of eternal life.

Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away.
If one were to give all the wealth of one’s house for love, it would be utterly scorned.
