An Introduction
A little over a decade ago, on October 7, 2014, inspiration struck, and I wrote a few lines that just would not leave my mind.
Those lines would become…
…a devotional, which I felt compelled to share via WhatsApp. Each day, something would spark a single sentence, and once I wrote it down, the next one would naturally flow. Sentences became paragraphs and paragraphs became whole narratives. While the writing wasn’t always self-revealing, as I obeyed the call to write,
the words kept coming.
Day after day, I continued writing. This practice lasted for the better part of six months. Although I didn’t quite make it to a full year, these inspirational narratives have continued to come to me ever since. The need to compile them into a devotional book became clear, and thank God, the process began. As an author, I am merely a vessel for His words, and I pray that every reader encounters Jesus through each page.
May this book introduce or reintroduce you to a God who loves abundantly and desires for all His children to experience the true depth of that love. I encourage you not to rush through these lines but to take your time. Scripture texts have been included at the end of each devotional to encourage a deeper dive into the Word of God. The devotional serves as a “lesser light,” designed to point you toward
the “main event” of your worship time:
